I have always been drawn to the paintings of the Dutch Masters; Rembrandt, Vermeer, Bruegel. With this work, my attention is given to emulating brushstrokes, utilizing chiaroscuro, and creating images that portray an innocent, yet somewhat disturbing sense of childlike fantasy.
